Simple. Wait until you are ready to replace your tire -- then BURN 'til it BLOWS!! |

The longer you do a "burn out " for the more rubber you will loose... a short one shouldn't hurt if the tread is ok |

You cant do just one there too fun lol but yes they will burn down little by little each time but one will not be too bad alot of people willl do quick ones if its cold to help warm the tires temp so it will grab the road eazyer. |

This issue has been covered extensively on this board,.... but I will give you a little known fact tat is conveniently forgotten by those that find it irresistible; Inconsistent wear pattern: when you do a burn out that sets in motion a certain wear pattern that may or may not work out well for the tire. (it certainly wears alot of rubber in a short amount of time) -and causes premature failure.... And when the tire stars wearing unevenly, or starts getting "cupped " or uneven wear, well, that just leads to an ever increasing balance problem for the tire and results in bike instability. -Not very good news to dad when he has to buy you another tire a year ahead of time... |

One burnout will not ruin your tire, but it will probably shorten the tire life by a couple hundred miles down the road. You ride to have fun don't you? |

Do it in the grass first to get a feel for it without dumping your bike, damaging the tire or drive system. |

Na, Binky! It's good for the tire! Good for the bike! Good for the soul! Go ahead, light it up! Light that tire up, preferably in front of kids, so they'll get a bigger thrill than you will! Go for it! |

Um...DUH!!! you are spinning the tire on a rough surface and the tire is rubber. its just common sense that it will wear it out |

Yes, it will. Also, if your tire suddenly grips, you night just punt yourself into the next area code: A really dumb way to show off, get hurt and wreck your bike. |

Its fine to do one once in a while just wear and tear on your tire. Also watch out in public cops make a big deal out of it. |

No, not by a beginner, the longer the burn out the shorter the tire life. Good burners can blow out a brand new tire. |

It will burn some tread off but if you do just one it will be basically unnoticeable. If you do like 50 ones that are 3 seconds each it will be barely noticeable. |
