James is right despite the number of people who dont like the answer. Slower almost certainly and certainly noisier. Maybe it is worth explaining why it would be slower.... A highly tuned exhaust will give you more power at peak revs. However the bike will be much less powerful at modrate to low revs, so it will bog down a lot and if you are riding anywhere but a track it will be slower than a standard one. That is for a good exhaust that boosts the power. Many look the part and are noisy but actually dont boost the power in any significant way and generally lose you midrange torque without the dubious benefit of higher power at peak revs. Wait till you can get a bigger bike and do that. No substitute for cubes. |
