Riding it, not a problem. Holding it upright at a stop, possible problem. From what I've heard you can do a partial dismount to get one foot on the ground with a thigh on the seat. If that is the bike you want you have to learn the techniques required to ride it. This is a common technique for riders of the super tall dual sport bikes.

You want to be able to sit on a bike with both feet flat on the ground. They publish seat heights in the specs, but the seats are all shaped differently so the only way to tell is to sit on the bike. A dealer will let you do that. For 'inseam challenged' people the choices are somewhat narrowed. Cruisers have lower seats, with the added benefit that they also have a lower center of gravity so they're easier to manage, size for size. So if you can't straddle the Ninja, try a Honda Shadow or Kawasaki Vulcan.

Try it for size, if you can sit on it and operate all the controls comfortably, with at least one foot touching the ground to stop it falling over, then its ok. There are many riders who are very capable of riding tall bikes who are not tall. If you cant reach the controls you can have the foot pegs changed for an adjustable set and fit different bars for the hand controls.

Try it at a dealer first if you like the bike....cause you can always lower it a couple of in., make shure that this is the bike you want first af all... and yes you can ride it even with your height..
