How to put a back box on a125 cc motorcycle?
I have a Honda NX 125, it is a four stroke. The front pipe exhaust is still there which ends at the rear wheel, The second part of the exhaust has been taken off. Honda have quoted me 165 for a new exhaust, but can get a second hand replacement very cheap from a diferent but simalar bike, would it be dificult to adapt it to fit? and is it easy to join it back to the front pipe??

How soon can I start preparing for a motorcycle endorsement?
Just a quick question, Id like to be able to drive a motorcycle as well as a car. Just seems like a good thing to be able to do. And although this may be a little soon, I just want to know the soonest I can start getting ready for it and what is involved in it. I just got my paperwork to go to the North Carolina DMV and get my restricted license. I was told I can drive for 6 months with a parent in the car, then after those 6 months I can drive with anyone in the car as long as they have had their license for 5 years or more. My question is, when can I start working on my motorcycle license, or whatever it may be called. Basically I just wanna know what goes into getting one, and how soon I can start. Thanks Can I do that before I get my full car license or do I have to wait until I have my full complete official car license before I do that??

Motorcycle carb questions?
I have a 2002 Suzuki Marauder VZ800, the bike has cobra drag pipes on it but I am not sure if the carb has been jetted, how can I tell if it has? The engine runs smooth throughout the throttle but occasionally backfires. Also I would like to put a K& N air filter in it but it says that I will need to re jet the carb for it, so if it has been jetted for the exhaust will I still need to jet it for the air filter? If I do, what type of jet kit would you recommend, and where should I get them?

Motorcycle Tachometers..?
I want to buy one so I can adjust the carb on my single cylinder 650cc suzuki savagewhat are somethings I should know before purchasing, and could you give any tips on installation? should i just purchase a portable one? Im new to motorcycles and appreciate any help gaurdrail right now my bike will rev but wont idle im trying to fix that. Im guessing its a cracked float. Motorcycle leaking gas?!?
My 1998 Kawasaki Vulcan classic 800cc is leaking gas out of the bottom of my bike. I'm an inexperienced rider, so I have no idea why this is happening. The tube the gas is coming out of is rubbery and black. I know that isn't much help, but I'm hoping somebody else has experienced this and will let me know what to do. Thank you ...Also, I have a service and repair manual, but I cannot find my problem in the book.

What To Pack On A 2-day Motorcycle Trail Ride?
Ok my bike is a 100cc so i can't carry a lot... Just so ya'll know So I'm finally getting my bike fixed and am already fitting some new packs and a sleeping bag and a tent etc. On her. It works great btw.. Anyway i pretty much know everything that could ever go wrong with the bike, or at least can trouble shoot it. So I'm not to worried about going to far.I'll be riding 6,000ft 11,000ft.And the environment ranges from, hot desert rough, to high evergreens. So my question is basically what do i NEED to bring? I don't really have room to spare because it's so small. So what are the essentials?Water, tools, 2 park plugs, oil, tent, a knife, sleeping bag, map, food, more water, a chihuahua? , cell phone, 2 gallons of gas along with my 2 1 2 gallon tank approximate of 250miles , fix a flat, cooking supplies, and TP lol .Those are just some of the things i could come up with off the top of my head.Any more suggestions? Also i plan on going roughly 100miles in a 2 day ride. Thanks Also the bike is a rebuilt 1983 Kawi Ke100. If you really want to know...Oh and a few lighters Duh And a first air kitbtw i'll be camping in a tent out in a field and there will be no facilities along the way

Motorcycle tire size?
I have a 1998 Honda Nighthawk 750 and am ordering a new front tire for it. I see that the factory size is a 110 80 R18, but the size of the tire thats on it is a 110 90 R18. Will I notice any difference, or will there be any issues with going with the larger sidewall tire?
