Question: How to make my honda xrm125 run faster?

There is no good way, every thing comes as a trade off, top speed for 5-10 seconds at the cost of all day every day acceleration. and you wont get any real difference. just twist the throttle more. How fast can you go now? 70? Well 72 is not much faster. Honda spends a lot making their bikes the best they get out of it, and you're not smart enuff to sweep the floor there. Leave it alone or buy a bigger bike.

You have 2 choices if you want noticable improvements. Choice 1: Throw lots of money at it in parts and labor. This will give some minor improvements that will be barely noticable Choice 2: Sell this bike. Take the money from the sale, add the $1000 or so that you would have used for modifications, and buy something with a larger engine, maybe a 250. A 250 will be faster than this 125 could ever hope to be, even with the modifications. And because the 250 is made from the ground up to handle this much power, you will have a much more reliable ride.
