Question: How to set timing on 110cc chopper?? [please help]?

Hi i have a 110cc mini chopper [was told its a butterfly chopper] and i need to set the timing on it, but dont know how to do it...is there anyone who has a link to anything that is useful?? or know how to time it..all i know about the engine is that it is a 110cc 4 stroke honda clone horizontal engine. i was alos told it may possibly need new piston rings, but not sure.. when i put the key in to start it it tries but doesnt stay on. when i put gas in carb to try to give it some direct gas and start it the gas leaks out through the exauhst hole, is that normal or does that mean something is wrong??

Sounds like you need a new piston ring oil is getting pass and its not letting the gas explode. If it was the timing it would run but not right. There is a tool for the points (timing) if you don't have it use the flat cardboard match box for the size.
