Will i need a restrictor for my 'Debi GPR 50 2T' motorbike if i am 16 with only a provisional moped license?
i was told that i did not need my bike restricted if it had no modifications done to it to get more power out of itlike how it came like that from the manufacture or dealer with no mods done to it

Cpi aragorn 49cc moped trouble?
ok i have a problem with my cpi aragorn 2008, it cut out two days ago at traffic lights and it wouldnt electric start so i had to jump off and kick start it. when i got home i recharged my battery and now its working fine however now when its running if i dont keep the throttle pulled back the engine will slowly die before cutting out after about a minute is this normal please help thanks alot

My moped/scooter is acting funny when it hits around 45 to 50 mph?
my moped scooter has just recently started to get kinda shake when i begin to hit around 45 to 50 mph. to clarify by what i mean by " shake" is while I'm on the road and get near 50 mph its as if my moped scooter grows a mind of its own and starts to hit the brakes and makes me slow down until i go to about 40 mph. i don't thing its the braking system because it would have started to stop me sooner, it's still drive able with out any major danger i just want to be able to go to 50 with out my moped scooter going demon ped on me and stop me in the middle of traffic. have any thoughts what i should do?

Can I check moped battery with car voltmetre?
I have a voltmetre for testing a car battery, will this also test my moped battery? I think it is 12V as it has 6 caps. Also does the battery need to be connected up to the moped? or can I test it when it is disconnected?Thanks for your answers. I'm testing it because I want to know if the battery is dead

Hi. My moped was all fine 4 weeks ago, it use to be really fast accelleration and hit 62mph but then all of a sudden it started jerking back and forth like it was struggling to go past 35mph. its derestricted obviously. now it doesnt go over 35mph and as soon as i try to push it faster it jerks back and forth but wont go over 35mph. After a week of that happening, i put it in my garage and locked it up, the next day for school i tried to start it and nothing. wouldn't even turn on. i kick started it for an hour and nothing. I charged the battery and still nothing. i tried it every day for over an hour and nothing happened. 3weeks later which was 2days ago i went in there with my fingers crossed randomly and it started for 3 seconds and then it cut out. I was really happy that it started. I then started it again and again it worked for 3 seconds and cut out. I then tried it again and nothing. I tried it all night nd it was dead. Recharged battery, still nothing. Back to stage 1. HELP
Moped accerlation problems??? Points for best answer?
HiI bought a yamaha jog r 50cc 56 reg, it has 8,500 miles on it and the problem I have with it is that it gets stuck at 20mph. What I mean is when I accerlate it will hit 20 mph with ease then it appears to bog down and slowly work its way up to 30mph, once its on 30 mph or above it is fine and if i keep it at 30mph or above the throttle response is great. Once the speedo indicates below 30mph the throttle response is bad and slowly works its way up. I want to get the bikes throttle response like it is at 30mph. I have ridden my friends mopeds and theres are all standard and dont pause at 20mph they just keep going. West london yamaha have carried out the following on repairs to my bike Glazed the variator New Rollers All parts replaced are standard Stripped and cleaned the carb Checked compression New air filter new spark plug test riddenIt also is terrible at going up hills, I know its only a 50cc but honestly it bogs down and wont budge unlike on a straight road, any ideas as to what it can be
Is a 150cc Moped/Scooter too heavy for a 120lb 20 year old girl?
Im thinking about purchasing a moped and i really liked this one i saw, but it's a 150cc scooter. I haven't driven a scooter before, although i have someone to teach me, i would like to know if this is too much weight for me.. The reason why i ask is because it looks bigger than the 50cc. So please if you could please give me your advice i would appreciate it.. Thank you
