I have a problem starting my harley?
I have a 1979 Harley Sportster and it is very temperamental about starting after sitting over night, I have had it in a garage for the last 4 months and have a new battery fully charged and it wont start properly. I can get the bike started with the choke out and using a can of starter spray but it wont stay running long enough to warm up. Any ideas on what I can do to get it to warm up? the garage isn't heated, I was thinking trying to leave the choke on and blowing my heat gun into the carb to get it some warm air.
Is my harley hot or not? am i gunna get some nice chick looks? lol. just bought it. :)?

I have a 1979 1000 ironhead sportster. The generator light was on all the time. So i replaced it with a brand new generator & now the light still stays on . But only when it idles..as soon as i give the bike throttle. the light goes out..any ideas???to vtwin do..How do i flash the feild coil terminal ? & yes it is a new generator. its idle is set just a little over 1000 rpms.CHICKEN HEAD. I own a honda also.Would not trade my harley for 5 hondas.Ive had the harley for a long time & hardly ever have to work on it. YOUR JUST A HATER..
