Can you put a electric shifter on a bmw k1200s? and if you can does it take any fabrication?
hi can any one help me i was in a bad accident and crushed my leg and hip,but i still am determind to ride again ,thoes who ride will understand my next bike will be the bmwk1200s and was wondering if you can put a electric shifter on this bike?thanxthanx 4 all your input and info i have bin riding 4 over 24yrs and had moestly all japanese bikes have had 8 bikes all japanese all big 1100s ,i rode my friends bike bmwk1200r that bike kicks there is no brake dive because of the telelever shock there is no cunventional forks,just aluminum arms look like forks but not, the k1200s,is a awesome bike but not 4 beginers thanx again 4 everyones help
Does bmw make a motorcycle around the 600cc class thats like their rr1000s?
Ive looked at and love the bmw rr1000s but i think the engine is to large for me and my abilities.can you explain that a little more to me. Ive only road street bikes a few times but ive been on dirtbikes my whole like. Im going on a deployment soon and would have basically enuf money to buy any sports bike i want. This s 1000rr has everything i want and looks damn good to boot lol. I want somthing thats got great excelleration and responsivness yet also very controllable for me. Im used to the KX250 twostrokes currently riding a kx250 2008 so i know i like quick excelleration vs top speed id only need top speeds of 120 to plz mecan you explain that a little more to me. I'm actually looking at the R6 as a viable option. Did you ever think maybe I'm just a better rider than you were when you had this little exp on the street? I hold several ama wins guy, 3 sponsors, not to mention a 2009 mid west motocross 250cc championship. I acknowledge the diff but dont assume me to be your average begging street rider thanks for the thought tho guyyeah im going to take the word of someone who sat through a school such as mmi lol and posted that as their source, over my own experience with the 600cc class and how my prior exp helped first hand your right guy what was i thinking...oh and it wasn't just " dirt riding" it was upper tier racing fyi doubt you could keep up most can't
